Not who wins — the score. Every game, every week.
Long shots pay most
For example
3 for the exact score, 1 for the right result. Then +2 if fewer than a fifth of players predicted that result, and +2 more if fewer than a twentieth predicted that exact score — two separate tests.
Every round counts
Each round has its own table, so a bad round is never the end of it — the next one starts everybody level.

Pestering people to predict since 1993
It started with a league table.
Slips of paper sold round a classroom in 1993 at 20p each for charity, the scores added up and a table printed so everyone could see how they did. Even a teacher gave in and bought one, not at all sure he was allowed to. It went online in 2002 as Predict the Premiership, and it has run every season since.
